The RAC series circular air curtains are designed to cool, blow or clean cylindrical surfaces without generating excessive noise or excessive air consumption. The compressed air flow is amplified by a factor of 25.
Operating principle
The very small amount of compressed air escaping from the air curtain is ejected at high speed through a 0.5 mm opening running along the entire device. This creates an “air blade” moving at very high speed and entraining the surrounding air towards the targeted area.
Air curtains are ideal for intensive product cooling applications or for removing large quantities of dust, chips, oil, water, etc., while using only a reduced volume of compressed air. As only a small amount of compressed air is required, noise levels are also significantly reduced. Noise reduction of up to 50 dBA can be achieved compared with other conventional systems.
