When the parts to be handled are of different dimensions, some suction cups may be outside the part to be handled. In this case, the other suction cups will detach (assembly with a central venturi) or the air consumption will be very high. This problem can be avoided by mounting a ball plunger on each suction cup to cut off the flow between the venturi and the suction cup when it is too high. In other words, the ball plunger is used when handling sequences of objects of different sizes and the flow on the suction cups cannot be detected or stopped mechanically.

PB 18 C: for suction cups < Ø 26mm

Recommendations
Ball plungers operate in a vertical position or at a maximum of 35°. To facilitate the release of parts, regularly clean the ball plungers by blowing with compressed air.
