For optimum air curtain performance, we recommend a compressed air supply hose with a minimum internal diameter of 8 mm, cut to 80 mm.
DESCRIPTION
NOVACOM develops and designs single-flow air curtains in France.
Air curtains are used for energy-efficient blowing operations over a wide area, as well as for cleaning or cooling.
The incoming compressed air generates a wide, high-speed, continuous and uniform airflow along the surface. Thanks to the Coanda effect, a phenomenon in fluid mechanics, ambient air is drawn in and added to the initial airflow.
They can also be used to create an air barrier between areas with different temperatures or to prevent cross-contamination.
