When the parts to be gripped are of different sizes, certain suction cups may be beyond the part requiring handling. In this case, the other suction cups will detach (installation with a centre ejector) or the air consumption will be very high. This problem can be avoided by installing a check valve on each suction cup to cut off the flow between the ejector and the suction cup when the flow is too high. In other words, a check valve is used when a series of different size objects needs to be handled and the flow on the suction cups cannot be detected or stopped mechanically. PB M38 F14: for suction cups > Ø 80 mm Recommendations The check valves operate in a vertical position or at 35° maximum.
